James Nahra

With more than fifty years  in the hospitality industry, James Nahra built Lakeland Manor on integrity, dedication, and a deeply personal commitment to every guest.

Jim’s philosophy is simple: treat every client like family — and execute every event as if it were your own.

His hand-selected team is professionally trained and held to the highest standards. Alongside him is his daughter, Nicole Nahra, whose leadership and management continue to carry the family legacy forward with strength and vision.

Together, they ensure Lakeland Manor remains what it has always been: a place where celebrations are executed with excellence and remembered with pride.

A Moment We Will Never Forget 

Last night, Lakeland Manor was honored in a way that truly touched our hearts.

The City of St. Clair Shores presented a formal proclamation celebrating our 50th Anniversary — recognizing five decades of memories, milestones, and the incredible community that has supported us along the way.

This recognition is especially meaningful because it reflects the legacy my father, Jimmy Nahra, built from the ground up in 1976 — alongside my beautiful mother, Sandra, whose spirit, love, and vision continue to live on in everything we do.

To hear such kind words spoken about our family, our food, and our story… it’s something we will carry with us forever.

We are beyond grateful to Mayor Kip Walby, the City Council, and the entire St. Clair Shores community for this incredible honor. It means more than words can express.
