Despite the heat and strong winds – along with a chance of rain according to Weatherman Stan – Lakeland Manor went out to the beautiful Veterans’ Memorial Beach in St. Clair Shores. The staff brought along all their utensils, food and a barbecue to the park… yes, an actual propane fired grill on site.
Jimmy Nahra himself presided over the event as his head chef, Andre handled much of the cooking. Some serving staff went around with the guests and caroused with them as time went on. Dark clouds did not put a damper on everyones’ spirits as the freshly prepared food came off the grill and onto the plates of hungry guests. A very relaxed atmosphere from both the folks of Lakeland Manor and the guests at the park made for a very enjoyable event for all.
A customer happened to ask: “Do you only cater within the Shores?”
We are happy to reply that no, we do not only cater within St. Clair Shores. We cater to all of South East Michigan; with parties as far as South Lyon calling in for events.
